This past week, StBlogs.com, which hosts this blog, experienced problems with their systems. As a result, this blog was one of several that were completely lost. Unfortunately, no backups were made of these individual blogs, so there is no way to recover anything that was lost. Needless to say I am quite discouraged that everything I wrote over the past year is gone. If by any chance, anyone has saved anything from my blog, I would be extremely grateful if you could email it to me at: rjalves71@gmail.com.
I am still trying to decide what my next step will be, whether to continue this blog here, or maybe try something new. I have also recently gotten involved with the 925 Project over at Catholic Mountain. This is an online network of Catholic Men looking to build their faith. The goal of the 925 Project is to take Catholic Mountain to the next level. Over the next several months, I will be involved in launching this project as well as possibly working as an official blogger on Catholic Mountain’s website. Please visit www.CatholicMountain.com for more details. I will keep you posted here as to my involvement there as well as what I decide to do with this blog.
Finally, I want to thank everyone who took time out of their busy lives to read my postings. I know that in comparison to other blogs, this one only had a small following. However, I am grateful for the approximately 2,000 visitors this blog had in the past year from all over the world. This blog was a truly memorable experience for me, which is why it is so upsetting to see it just vanish so quickly.
